  Remember Counsel To AVOID The Courts?

  i also remember being told from the platform that going to court when differences between "brothers" could be handled privately would only "besmirch" 'hovah's name.

  these comments from the platform were made on a regular basis throughout the 11 years of my association with 'hovahs.. these pedophile cases are not isolated incidents when it comes to the victims being told not to go to the authorities.

  i'm sure many others can remember the same thing.

  Courts are a no-no withing the JW's.
  There isn't anything that the elder's can't handle.
  They are well trained and well-equipped to handle any situation that may arise.
  So they say, so they think.

  Haunting Images

  1. the pictures from watchtower publications showing wicked mankind being destroyed while jehovah's witnesses are delivered to paradise.

  i don't think the general public completely understands that jw's think they are an exclusive group.. 2. the video of two of the molesters going from door to door.

  it was a tremendously powerful image.. 3. the words of the watchtower legal department saying that jehovah will fix the problem.. 4. the view of a witness assembly.

  It made my stomach churn when the Society provided a statement that, "out of the 77,600 elders worldwide, perhaps a few were disciplined for pedophilia" (not an exact quote...but close enough!).

  I felt that this statement made the WTS look as if they feel as though the problem is such a tiny one.

  The way they word things certainly are meant to deceive their listeners.

  to date i can honestly boast that my apostate enemies have failed to present any challenge which i have not been able to refute using the word of my god.. ok while i am not an apostate (never set foot in a kh)...i did have a talk with an elder with some evidence that though the gb does not claim to be inspired....they have in fact done just that.

  i could see the wheels in his head trying to explain this away as he read it about 15 times over...in the end he just changed the subject in classic jw form.

  Has anyone else noted how You Know seems to always mention how the Elder's are going to get judged (for their harshness) and how the so-called Apostates are going to be judged (because they allegedly abandoned Jehovah) but he never seems to mention that he himself will be judged for making all of these claims.
  I am an active JW and, although I am working on exiting the JW organization, You Know has been a big reason why I have no desire to be a JW.

  Dateline couldn't have come at a better time.....

  it was great that she and her ms husband were socializing with me and my husband.

  i just got an email from dateline, saying it was going to be about "chandra levy.

  " also, it says "dateline friday," but here in co, dateline is on "tuesdays.

  " so i am confused.

  i think it's simply amazing the way the watchtower has shot itself in the foot by bringing bill bowen, barbara anderson, and the pandelos before judicial committees.

  it has really blown up in their collective face.

  the issue is on the front page of my local paper, and scores of other newspapers all over the country.. remember, when we were jw's, how we were taught that jehovah used the angels to maneuver events so as to expose wrongdoing in the congregation?

  Ground Zero PHOTOS! (Goodbye Red X's???)

  these were taken on february 11, 2002 (five months after the tragedy).. this day, they pulled the bodies of 5 victims from the rubble.. i wish the photos were larger but the larger photos eventually turn into red x's.. reflect and enjoy!.

  the building's that you see did not suffer as much damage as the other building's (shown above) that were to the left of the wtc.

  a closer shot of the smaller buildings that are shown in one of the photos above.... .

  Oh, and thank you for your other input. A lot of people won't ever be able to visit Ground Zero. That is why I decided to post the pics.
